Team Member - Production

Job overview

This role is for a production team member responsible for supporting machine setup, operation, supervision, quality checks, documentation, and safe handling of materials at the manufacturing site in Khandala MIDC, Kesurdi Phata, Satara.

Key duties

• Support machine adjustment, operation, and monitoring in line with factory data collection records, work instructions, and completion timelines.
• Configure machines as per the prescribed setup plan.
• Carry out quality checks as per TSOP and escalate any variation to the reporting superior.
• Monitor machine condition and ensure smooth, trouble-free functioning.
• Take action when technical issues arise and inform the supervisor.
• Verify safety systems and segregate faulty material.
• Conduct inspections as per the inspection plan and related standards.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing and testing records.
• Perform visual inspection of product defects, including marking defect locations where required.
• Separate rejected or defective output from acceptable production.
• Handle raw materials, auxiliary materials, residual materials, and operating materials responsibly.
• Arrange supply and disposal of subassemblies, pre-products, tools, and related materials in a timely manner.
• Follow procedures defined in the function manual and IMS without deviation.

Qualification and experience

Candidates should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Plastic Engineering. The preferred pass-out year is 2024–2025. Prior experience of 1 to 2 years in the automotive or chemical manufacturing industry is required. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and PDCA is preferred, and familiarity with polymer processing will be an added advantage.

Compensation

The position offers an annual CTC of INR 3,38,160, with an in-hand monthly salary of INR 21,500.
