Teaching Assistant – Sharjah

About the Role

Derby Nursery by Dibber, part of a leading Scandinavian early childhood education group, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join the expanding team located in Sharjah, UAE. Primary Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in fostering a warm, secure, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
• Promote children's curiosity, self-confidence, and autonomy through daily engagements.
• Support implementation of classroom activities, routines, and educational experiences.
• Encourage and support children’s social, emotional, and intellectual development.
• Establish and maintain positive connections with children, their families, and fellow staff members.
• Contribute actively to a cheerful and inspiring nursery environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings is beneficial.
• Strong enthusiasm and passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
• Possess a caring, patient, and optimistic disposition.
• Excellent communication abilities and capability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Sharjah.
