Systems Operations Associate

About the Role

Join Roku, the leading streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, on a mission to connect the entire television ecosystem globally. As a Systems Operations Associate within Platform Operations, you will play an essential role in managing video on demand (VOD) and live content ingestion, overseeing content workflows that ensure smooth delivery and monetization to millions of users. This position reports to the Platform Business & Revenue Operations team and offers the chance to directly influence scalable process and product advancements in Roku's content pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand workflows and identify enhancements for data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of business data across key systems, ensuring a single reliable source of truth for stakeholders.
• Support compliance, including SOX and audit readiness, working alongside legal, finance, and product teams.
• Conduct quarterly analyses comparing current and future processes, translating findings into specifications for product and engineering teams.
• Work with leadership to design improvements for internal systems related to reporting, data consolidation, and automation.
• Participate in sprint planning to help prioritize feature requests and enhancements.
• Identify manual or repetitive workflows for automation to reduce errors and increase operational capacity.
• Assist stakeholders in testing and validating new product updates and workflows.
• Create and maintain documentation and training guides to support tool adoption and rollout.
• Stay knowledgeable about system integrations and evaluate impact of changes on operations.
• Collaborate on upkeep of business and operational documentation with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in business or systems operations, or related analytical roles.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality control, and compliance frameworks like SOX.
• Experience supporting cross-team initiatives related to product or feature launches.
• Familiarity with ticketing and reporting tools; JIRA or Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical discussions.
• Advanced data analysis skills including Excel; BI tools such as Tableau or Looker preferred.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment and Benefits

Roku fosters a hybrid work environment, typically expecting onsite presence Monday through Thursday and remote work flexibility on Fridays. The estimated annual salary for California-based candidates ranges from $99,000 to $108,000, determined individually based on candidate skills and location.
