About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to take charge of end-to-end planning activities including demand, supply, inventory, and replenishment planning. This position is pivotal in coordinating the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to guarantee product availability across multiple channels such as retail stores, e-commerce, wholesale, export, and international markets. The role aims to minimize surplus inventory, reduce slow-moving stock, and manage working capital effectively while supporting business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly demand planning process across a diverse range of categories, SKUs, geographical regions, and sales channels including stores, e-commerce, wholesale, export, and international markets.
  • Create statistical forecasts derived from historical sales data, seasonal trends, promotional activities, product launches, evolving market dynamics, customer demand signals, and commercial insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Retail, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to confirm demand assumptions and ensure forecast alignment with organizational business objectives.
  • Continuously monitor forecasting accuracy and detect biases; analyze deviation causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Convert demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, purchase orders, production schedules, and replenishment strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate the S&OP process to balance demand, supply, financial goals, capacity limitations, risks, and executive decision-making.
  • Ensure comprehensive alignment between projected demand and operational constraints such as supplier lead times, manufacturing capacity, warehouse space, logistics capabilities, and store requirements.
  • Report any supply chain risks such as shortages, excess stock, shipment delays, and capacity bottlenecks to senior leadership.
  • Define inventory management policies for SKUs, product categories, and sales channels including safety stock levels, reorder points, minimum and maximum inventory thresholds, ABC classification, and target service levels.
  • Manage replenishment planning processes for all channels including retail outlets, warehouses, e-commerce platforms, franchise networks, and international operations.
  • Implement strategies to minimize stockouts and prevent overstocking, obsolescence, discontinued products, and slow-moving items.
  • Provide logistical and planning support for new store launches, peak seasons, marketing campaigns, product rollouts, limited editions, gift sets, bundled offers, and promotions.
  • Ensure readiness for new product launches encompassing finished goods, packaging, testers, display materials, and allocation plans.
  • Maintain and update planning parameters in ERP and demand planning systems, such as lead times, minimum order quantities, ordering frequency, safety stock, forecast categorization, and SKU lifecycle status.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics including forecast accuracy, stock availability, inventory days, aging inventory, replenishment efficiency, supply chain risks, and S&OP outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning tools, templates, master data management, and automation of reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required.
  • A master’s degree or MBA is considered advantageous.
  • Possess 6 to 9 years of proven experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, inventory management, replenishment, or S&OP functions.
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, cosmetics, luxury products, perfumes, fashion, or consumer goods industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting techniques, inventory control, S&OP processes, replenishment strategies, ERP systems, and dashboard reporting.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with proficiency in handling large datasets.
  • Certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, IBF forecasting, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
