Role Summary

We are looking for a focused, collaborative, and strategic Supply Chain Manager to spearhead the operation and growth of our Supply Chain and Procurement functions in Germany. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on operational skills, and superior stakeholder engagement to advance supplier partnerships, source products, and enhance cost efficiency, quality, and supply chain reliability. Ideal candidates will enjoy problem-solving, working across departments, and witnessing the tangible impact of their contributions in a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Director to formulate and implement long-term supply chain strategies that balance cost-effectiveness, service quality, and risk management.
• Oversee inventory levels and supply performance by coordinating with suppliers and internal category teams to maintain adequate stock availability.
• Manage relationships with primary suppliers and logistics providers, lead contract negotiations, and enforce compliance and service standards.
• Detect supply chain weaknesses and design contingency plans to prevent disruptions.
• Lead initiatives to enhance procurement, logistics, demand forecasting, and inventory processes to boost reliability and reduce waste.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to align supply chain priorities with organizational goals and collaborate on shared projects.
• Promote sustainability and innovation by driving activities that adopt digital solutions, automation, and novel business models in the supply chain.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, operations, or consultancy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain workflows, such as sourcing, supplier management, logistics, planning, and order fulfillment.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with ERP or supply chain planning tools.
• Proven experience leading cross-departmental initiatives and successfully delivering process improvements.
• Expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Background in pharmaceutical or healthcare supply chains.
• Leadership experience in negotiation within procurement frameworks.
• Experience working in fast-paced, scaling organizations.
• Understanding of sustainability practices and emerging technologies in supply chains is advantageous.
