Storekeeper

Role overview

The Fresh Factory is hiring a careful and dependable Storekeeper to oversee inventory control, stock transfers, and the day-to-day functioning of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Check and accept materials delivered by vendors, making sure quantities and items match the order.
• Keep precise records for all items coming into and going out of stock.
• Distribute ingredients and other materials to the kitchen and other departments based on their needs.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO practices and store materials in the correct manner.
• Monitor expiration dates, wastage, damage, and any stock gaps or shortages.
• Carry out routine inventory counts and stock verification.
• Keep the store area clean, hygienic, and well arranged at all times.
• Work closely with the purchase and operations teams to ensure materials remain available without disruption.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, grocery setup, warehouse, or inventory-related role is preferred.
• Comfort with basic computer tools such as Excel, POS systems, or inventory software.
• Strong eye for detail and a sense of responsibility for stock accuracy.
• Need to be honest, well-organized, and disciplined in following processes.
