Role Overview

UCT is currently looking for a capable Store Planner to join their Singapore team, playing a key role in production planning and material coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and process work orders within a stipulated 24-hour timeframe following production requests.
• Manage and adjust work order sequences as necessary.
• Verify accuracy and completion of work order system transactions.
• Prioritize distribution of work orders to the store efficiently.
• Monitor work order picking status from the store regularly.
• Conduct daily checks for shortages and NCM replacements, ensuring timely replenishment of materials.
• Maintain collaboration with material and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Activate receiving teams to boost urgent parts procurement, as tracked in the urgent tracker report.
• Facilitate expedited delivery of urgent items to production post quality control approval.
• Liaise with shipping teams regarding sell-back parts.
• Coordinate with IT department to resolve any work order related system issues.
• Communicate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to manage warehouse interactions.
• Organize special or ad hoc deliveries as required.
• Monitor weekly work order forecasts and alert supervisors to any abnormal variations.
• Participate in quarterly capacity review discussions.

Education and Qualifications

• Possession of a minimum Degree in Logistics or a related field.

Experience and Skills

• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within manufacturing; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Proficient in basic PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting and coordinate across various departments.
