Store Person

About the Role

Become a key team member at one of the UK's top hospitality groups, The Restaurant Group (TRG), by joining as a Store Person. This position is a back-of-house role responsible for managing deliveries, ensuring items meet strict standards of quantity, quality, temperature, and use-by date compliance. Efficiently store incoming stock following rigorous food hygiene and safety protocols. In locations with shared storage, maintain proper segregation of deliveries for various units in line with detailed stock control guidelines.

This role involves working flexible shifts including early starts as early as 3am at airport locations, which means shifts finish earlier in the day. TRG boasts nearly 300 outlets across the UK, featuring prominent brands like wagamama and Barburrito, including operations within UK airports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect delivery items for correct quantity, quality, expiration dates and temperature control.
• Ensure all stock is promptly and accurately stored adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain separation of stock in shared storage environments, complying strictly with stock guidelines.
• Support operations effectively regardless of shift timing, including very early mornings.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate well with team members.
• Excellent organisational talents and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Positive attitude especially under the fast-paced and dynamic airport work environment.
• Flexibility to work early shifts starting at 3am as required by airport operations.
• Capability to provide a five-year work, education, and personal reference history and successfully pass a criminal background check.
