Position Overview
As a Steward at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts located on Ummahat Island, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia, you will provide essential support across various hotel departments including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry. This role involves preparing fresh linens and spotless dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and laundry appliances, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned areas.
- Operate and care for cleaning equipment and tools efficiently.
- Transport linens and dishware safely across hotel departments.
- Uphold company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures consistently.
- Foster positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to supervisory staff promptly.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long durations.
- Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- No formal education or high school diploma required.
- No previous work experience needed.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No licenses or certifications required.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting. Professionals must present a neat uniform and communicate professionally.
