Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Sppid Process Designer to join our team in Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for creating and updating SmartPlant P&ID drawings, ensuring database integration and engineering consistency, and collaborating across various engineering disciplines to meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify SmartPlant P&ID drawings as per project standards.
- Update existing P&IDs incorporating mark-ups and redline feedback.
- Develop intelligent P&IDs integrated with comprehensive databases.
- Maintain uniform engineering standards across all documents.
- Generate reports directly from the SPPID database for project documentation.
- Verify accuracy of line numbers, equipment tags, valve tags, and instrument tags.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and client guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including Process, Piping, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Civil engineers.
- Conduct thorough quality checks prior to final submission.
- Identify and resolve database validation errors within SmartPlant P&ID.
- Manage and update symbol libraries and engineering template files.
- Support transition projects involving migration from AutoCAD P&ID systems to SmartPlant P&ID.
- Maintain proper control of document revisions and version history.
- Prepare and submit engineering deliverables adhering to project schedules.
- Engage in model review sessions and client discussions when necessary.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.).
