Job Overview
This role offers legal professionals the chance to join the FBI as Special Agents, combining your legal expertise with advanced investigative work addressing national security concerns such as cyber threats, terrorism, and fraud. Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigations that focus on federal law breaches, cybersecurity threats, and public safety issues.

- Establish and sustain strong cooperative relationships with various law enforcement entities across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
- Maintain physical fitness to meet the demanding law enforcement readiness standards.
Applicant Requirements
- United States citizenship is mandatory.
- Eligibility to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
- Must be open to traveling as job demands.
- Fulfill the FBI’s employment eligibility standards.
Educational Criteria
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a U.S.-accredited institution. A preference is given to degrees in law, legal studies, or closely related fields. Verification through official college transcripts is necessary.
Compensation
The salary range spans from $93,749 to $133,200, depending on base pay, locality, and availability bonuses.
