Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop procurement markets and select as well as qualify new suppliers.
• Manage and strategically develop suppliers on a global scale.
• Advance and implement BIRKENSTOCK's sourcing strategy.
• Handle global contract management including negotiations and contract finalization.
• Prepare tenders, requests, and analyze offers.
• Negotiate and optimize pricing, replenishment times, and minimum order quantities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed degree or commercial vocational training.
• At least three years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably within an industrial company.
• Experience in the footwear industry or purchasing fashionable accessories is advantageous.
• Knowledge of international tendering and procurement processes is a plus.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a benefit.
