About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Rockhampton region team, working across sites including Rockhampton, North Rockhampton, and Yeppoon. This role involves performing a broad variety of ultrasound diagnostic procedures while providing exceptional patient care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, supplemented by participation in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound examinations on a diverse patient population.
• Deliver high-quality and compassionate patient care during all procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with clinicians and healthcare team members across multiple sites.
• Participate in a rotating roster and fulfill on-call shift obligations.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of sonography qualifications with ASAR accreditation or actively pursuing it.
• Strong communication capabilities complemented by a patient-centered approach.
• Flexibility to work across various locations within the Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Gladstone areas.
