Job description
Role Summary
We are recruiting a Software Quality Engineer to join a distinguished client on a full-time remote basis. The position involves engaging with realistic coding tasks within an agentic coding environment, overseeing model outputs, verifying solution accuracy, and generating thorough and reliable annotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform coding assignments using the designated agentic coding framework while ensuring model confidentiality and independence of sessions
- Adhere strictly to task directives, timelines, planned interactions, and evaluation guidelines consistently across multiple runs
- Confirm model results by examining code, executing commands, analyzing logs, and reviewing artifacts produced
- Develop complex, authentic multi-step coding challenges including defining user intent and milestone structures for offline assessments
- Compose accurate, detailed, and evidence-supported explanations for trajectory evaluations and rankings
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or SQL focused on code analysis and debugging
- Experience handling substantive software tasks exceeding simple problems or superficial code reviews
- Capability to create rubric-based and binary evaluation standards tailored to specific model outputs
- Exceptional attention to detail to maintain annotation quality and grading uniformity
- Comfortable with debugging, validating tests, and manually inspecting software behavior
