Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application features utilizing Angular for frontend, Java Spring Boot for backend, and MySQL databases, incorporating AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Create user interfaces, backend APIs, business logic, database architecture, conduct system integration, fix defects, optimize performance, support deployment, and prepare technical documentation, leveraging AI assistance to speed development and ensure uniformity.
• Develop and carry out unit tests for frontend and backend components, employing AI-driven methods to maximize test coverage and detect edge cases.
• Engage in code reviews adhering to established coding standards and best practices, such as OWASP Secure Coding Practices.
• Assist with application build, packaging, and deployment across development, testing, and production stages.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues during all lifecycle phases using AI-based diagnostic tools to enhance troubleshooting efficiency.
• Document system designs, API specifications, and database details thoroughly.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, participate in Agile processes, and ensure components are secure, scalable, maintainable, and meet business and technical requirements.
• Manage technical projects related to system operations, maintenance, and new initiatives alongside ICT O&M contractors.
• Work closely with business and technology teams, external providers, and government bodies to advance new projects and enhancements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a software developer or engineer, preferably within Agile project environments.
• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong skills in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or .Net.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular, or React.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines like GitLab CI or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Ability to creatively solve complex programming problems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for faster delivery, improved testing, and continuous enhancement.
• Understanding of application security principles and best practices in software development.
• Experience in Agile methodologies, SDLC, and iterative testing to effectively deliver and improve products.
