SMT Technician

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled SMT Technician to join our team at Tata Electronics located in Mayang, Assam, India. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining various SMT machines and ensuring seamless production with high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and handle machines including SPI, Fuji, GKG Printer, Reflow, and AOI.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of SMT machines.
• Execute line installation, alignment, and commissioning activities.
• Program FUJI Mounters and optimize cycle times.
• Analyze breakdowns and conduct repairs efficiently.
• Manage machine tossing controls and oversee spare parts inventory.
• Participate in new product development, including CPK, GRR studies, and machine installations.
• Ensure all production stations comply with company quality standards.
• Collaborate with management to improve manufacturing workflow for better throughput and productivity.
• Develop and maintain work schedules with line engineers, managers, and supervisors to guarantee 100% on-time delivery.
• Engage with team members daily to achieve zero defect products and enhance quality levels.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment through education and direction.
• Ensure equipment and tools are maintained and readily available.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a Diploma in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience working with SMT machines.
