About the Role

A reputed construction firm is seeking to hire a Site Supervisor at their Ernakulam location to oversee construction projects effectively and ensure compliance with safety protocols. This role involves coordinating site activities to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure all personnel strictly follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
• Implement best practices and safety procedures throughout the project.
• Recruit on-site workers and conduct regular performance assessments.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring material stock and procuring supplies as needed.
• Verify proper working condition and maintenance of all construction equipment.
• Administer first aid promptly during any emergency situations on site.
• Interpret construction drawings and blueprints accurately for proper execution.
• Carry out routine site inspections to identify and eliminate safety hazards.
• Maintain comprehensive attendance records of all site workers.
• Review daily work progress and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure that all emergency response equipment is available and functional.
• Strive to complete construction projects within the established timelines.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Construction Project Manager.
• Participate in on-site meetings and related events as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience working as a Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Proficient with construction tools and equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety standards on construction sites.
• Exemplary leadership qualities and ability to manage teams effectively.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid two-wheeler license.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and construction blueprints.
• Immediate availability for joining is preferable and considered an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

The monthly salary ranges between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000, depending on the candidate's experience.
