About the Role
The Site Technical and Commercial (TC) Lead for the Khavda Project plays a pivotal role in overseeing comprehensive technical and commercial coordination at the project location. This position ensures that engineering, procurement, and construction activities are perfectly integrated, aligning site operations with project specifications, schedules, and quality benchmarks while adhering to regulatory and safety standards. As a crucial liaison between on-site operations and corporate divisions, this role fosters operational excellence and supports the successful completion of one of the largest renewable energy projects in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning and execution ensuring consistency with engineering norms and project demands.
- Collaborate with design and site teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance system functionality.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams and promote communication among engineering, procurement, and operational groups.
- Organize regular meetings to track progress and address issues.
- Ensure technical efforts are aligned with the strategic project objectives and sustainability standards.
- Monitor and control project expenses related to technical activities to conform with budget and profitability goals.
- Drive cost efficiency by optimizing resource usage.
- Carry out inspections and audits to guarantee compliance and foster continuous improvements.
- Anticipate, identify, and manage risks in the technical-commercial processes that could affect project delivery.
- Formulate contingency strategies and continuously watch risk indicators throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory technical execution requirements.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and maintain complete documentation for audits and approvals.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant field preferred.
- Professional certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related fields such as CSCP, CPSM, CPIM are advantageous.
- Over 15 years experience in techno-commercial and procurement roles within renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven success in leading techno-commercial functions.
- Expertise in strategic procurement and supplier relationship management.
