Senior Technician - Maintenance

About the Role

This position located across Riyadh, Tabuk, Abha, Yanbu, and Medina is for a Senior Technician responsible for advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various attraction rides and devices. The individual will lead work execution alongside other technicians, focusing on ensuring operational readiness and supporting installation activities collaborating with contractors and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate actively with Operations, Project Attraction Teams, and Project Management Consultants.
• Maintain liaison with ride manufacturers' representatives present at project sites.
• Follow international safety standards and comply with Saudi regulatory requirements.
• Lead and perform technical maintenance tasks for rides supported by the technician team and technical management.
• Implement and document maintenance activities consistent with SEVEN’s policies, safety, and operational procedures.
• Enhance technical documentation such as SOPs, manuals, troubleshooting, evacuation procedures, checklists, rehabilitation programs, and non-destructive testing schedules.
• Support introduction and use of asset management systems and maintenance documentation.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and consumables, providing proactive input to maintain availability.
• Help achieve department goals, action plans, and KPIs aligned with company strategy.
• Serve as Team Leader when necessary during absences.
• Carry out and log corrective maintenance on rides matching industry and manufacturer standards.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and record actions accordingly.
• Respond to and troubleshoot ride breakdowns to restore safe operation promptly.
• Communicate with Operations to gather information and solve technical issues.
• Verify technician work quality, especially in safety-critical inspections and repairs.
• Support daily operational readiness of rides to meet reliability and availability targets.
• Ensure adequate resources, materials, tools, equipment, and manpower for maintenance delivery.
• Identify improvements for ride performance and maintenance efficiency.
• Assist in annual certification and recertification by Independent Bodies.
• Lead major annual maintenance and rehabilitation efforts for optimal ride function.
• Participate in evacuation procedures and suggest enhancements.
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure calibration and safety compliance.
• Conduct training sessions and maintain relevant training records per Learning & Development standards.
• Adhere strictly to QHSE policies and overall company standards.
• Use consumables efficiently and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Demonstrate effective English communication; Arabic is beneficial.
• Apply strong time management and strategic implementation skills.
• Show cultural sensitivity and lead by example.
• Promote excellent guest experiences alongside strict safety measures.
• Support SEVEN’s vision, mission, values, and the Code of Conduct.
• Perform additional duties as required by Attraction Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an Engineering Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical fields.
• Have at least 5 years of practical experience in the leisure, attractions, or theme park sector.
• Experienced with hands-on major ride maintenance and annual rehabilitation activities.
