Role Overview
As a Senior Recruiter on eBay's Global Talent Acquisition team in Toronto, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our Toronto talent hub by sourcing top-tier professionals for the Global Markets Experience and Growth teams. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will manage full-cycle recruitment, collaborating closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers across strategic business functions including Strategy, Program Management, Category Management, Marketing, and Product to devise effective hiring plans targeting critical priorities.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a streamlined and high-quality experience from candidate intake through offer closure.
- Innovate sourcing approaches while building strong connections within Toronto's talent ecosystem, such as universities, professional bodies, and community organizations, to create diverse talent pipelines for present and future needs.
- Provide strategic counsel by sharing market and competitive talent insights that enable informed hiring decisions.
- Enhance candidate experience by fostering genuine relationships, maintaining transparent communication, and embodying eBay’s core values throughout recruitment.
- Work synergistically with other recruiters, People Business Partners, and cross-departmental teams to continuously refine recruitment processes, share best practices, and contribute to the growth of eBay's Toronto talent base.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment, with demonstrated success sourcing high-caliber talent across diverse business domains.
- Proven expertise in proactive sourcing and talent mapping, adept at engaging passive talent in competitive labor markets.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, influencing hiring outcomes and cultivating trusted partnerships with business leaders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple recruiting demands efficiently in fast-paced settings.
- A keen curiosity for emerging technological tools, including AI, to advance sourcing tactics and improve recruitment efficiency and experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this role is between C$102,800 and C$137,200 annually, with the final offer influenced by factors including location, expertise, and experience. The total remuneration package may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits such as medical coverage, financial plans including RRSP options, paid time off, and parental leave.
