Senior Network & Information Security Engineer

Overview

This full-time position based in Doha, Qatar involves overseeing and enhancing enterprise network and information security systems to protect organizational assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and safeguard the company's network security framework including firewalls and security appliances.
• Leverage deep expertise in firewall technologies such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos or comparable platforms to perform configuration, management, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Deploy and monitor advanced security tools like EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, and WAF to identify and mitigate threats effectively.
• Conduct thorough security evaluations including vulnerability assessments and system health checks, implementing necessary corrective measures.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts including routing, switching, network security protocols, access control, and secure communications to fortify network infrastructure.
• Provide support for disaster recovery and business continuity plans, facilitate security audits and compliance measures, as well as contribute technical expertise to security initiatives and team efforts.
