Role Summary

The Senior Manager - MEP Design will manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects throughout all phases of projects ensuring adherence to the National Building Code and associated standards. This role involves guiding execution strategies, resolving design and site-related issues, and integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies for enhanced project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee MEP design and execution across project lifecycles maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve execution challenges ensuring timely, quality project outcomes.
• Champion the integration of BIM and innovative design tools for optimal efficiency.
• Stay informed on emerging MEP materials, technologies, and industry trends.
• Promote technology-driven improvements in design and project execution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including design, MEP, site, and operations teams to align objectives.
• Manage relationships with external consultants ensuring high standards of delivery.
• Supervise a team of 5-6 direct reports and multiple indirect reports fostering a productive work culture.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should bring 18 to 20 years of relevant professional experience in MEP design and project management roles.
