Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years as a hands-on senior developer. This role requires deep expertise in Java and J2EE technologies along with experience managing end-to-end development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Work extensively with frameworks such as Struts 2.0, Spring 2.5, and Hibernate 3.0.
- Execute complex SQL queries and utilize at least two different application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss).
- Participate actively in requirement gathering and collaborate with client stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
- Engage directly with clients to understand needs and provide technical input.
- Follow software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and documentation standards.
- Utilize source control tools like SVN and VSS effectively.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet project goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience with at least 4 years dedicated to Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, and object-oriented concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Struts 2.0, Spring 2.5, and Hibernate 3.0 frameworks.
- Proficient in writing efficient SQL queries.
- Knowledgeable in multiple application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes and source version control systems like SVN or VSS.
- Banking domain experience is advantageous.
- Ability to join within one month or sooner.
- Strong collaborative skills and team-oriented mindset.
