Senior Integration Specialist – webMethods

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Integration Specialist proficient in webMethods to lead the development and management of our application integration infrastructure. The ideal candidate will architect robust integration solutions ensuring seamless connectivity across diverse systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of integration solutions bridging multiple applications and systems.
• Manage and configure the webMethods Integration Server and webMethods API Gateway to optimize performance and reliability.
• Develop high-performance APIs including RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC, along with defining OpenAPI specifications.
• Ensure system uptime and optimize integration platform stability through monitoring and performance tuning.
• Handle full software development lifecycle activities, including version control using GitLab and thorough compatibility testing.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, maintain backup and recovery procedures, and produce detailed documentation.
• Provide mentorship to team members focusing on integration methodologies and custom workflow creation.

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' practical experience in integration development and operational management.
• Expert knowledge of webMethods platform technologies and integration protocols such as WebSocket, Server-Sent Events (SSE), and MsgPack.
• Experience working with relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Proven project management capabilities for handling small-scale projects and task coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred credentials include certifications as a WebMethods Integration Developer and in API Design.
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages is required for professional communication.
