The company is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to enhance their Technology Team by constructing internal platforms that streamline LAB3’s operations and delivering AI-powered solutions to clients.

Role Overview

• Take complete ownership of software projects, from architectural design through production deployment and ongoing maintenance across frontend, backend, data, and Azure infrastructure.
• Develop intuitive, well-crafted React/TypeScript user interfaces, robust APIs and backend services, logical data models, and reliable deployment pipelines.
• Incorporate AI capabilities by utilizing agentic coding assistants like Claude Code and Copilot to improve workflow efficiency, alongside integrating language models, retrieval approaches, agent systems, and operational guardrails into deliverables.
• Create AI-enhanced applications and internal tools, working with LAB3’s agent orchestration, financial operations, pricing tools, and client AI projects.
• Collaborate thoroughly with consultants, architects, and clients to convert broad business goals into specific technical implementations and functional software.
• Maintain high engineering standards by mentoring colleagues, conducting insightful code reviews, considering pragmatic trade-offs, implementing testing and observability, and managing operational responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• At least five years of in-depth full stack development experience covering modern frontend frameworks, backend services, API development, relational database design, and cloud deployments.
• Proficient in React with TypeScript, PostgreSQL database management, and Python programming, capable of independently designing, releasing, operating, and iterating production applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure platforms, including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage solutions, Identity services, and CI/CD pipelines, or a proven ability to quickly acquire these skills.
• Active usage of AI development tools and demonstrated experience delivering features or products integrating large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent frameworks, or related technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and the aptitude to mentor junior developers.
• Resides in Australia or New Zealand with full legal authorization to work.

• Front-end development with React and TypeScript
• Back-end services and API construction with Python
• Relational data modeling and PostgreSQL database management
• Microsoft Azure cloud services including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage
• Azure Identity management and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Integration and use of LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agents, and agentic systems
• Expertise in prompt and context engineering for AI models
• Evaluation, guardrails, and monitoring of LLM applications
• Use of AI-powered developer tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem
