Jasara is a consultancy specialized in managing construction projects with complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components. The team plays a pivotal role ensuring that MEP installations conform with approved drawings, technical standards, quality expectations, safety protocols, and project timelines. Role Overview

As a Senior Discipline Engineer for MEP, you will oversee and elevate the quality and progress of MEP works throughout the construction lifecycle. You will facilitate coordination among technical teams and uphold stringent compliance and execution standards. Close collaboration with project leadership and site stakeholders will be essential to provide engineering guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily MEP construction activities onsite.
• Examine and track MEP shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs).
• Verify that MEP tasks are completed according to approved designs, technical specifications, local codes, and project mandates.
• Perform inspections and oversee testing and commissioning procedures.
• Monitor contractor progress, identifying and addressing potential delays or quality deficiencies.
• Coordinate MEP operations with civil, architectural, and other relevant disciplines.
• Review contractor progress documentation to validate completed work.
• Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), document site observations, and follow up to ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Participate in site meetings, providing technical expertise to Project Managers and Resident Engineers.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality standards during project delivery.
• Engage in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover processes.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 7 years’ experience supervising MEP site works within Project Management Consultancy or consultancy firms, involving large-scale building, commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong mechanical engineering expertise, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
• Proven ability to prepare technical reports related to construction and MEP projects.
• Knowledge of international standards and local regulations, including the Saudi Building Code.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Prior experience collaborating with contractors and client-side teams is advantageous.
