Role Overview
Join us as a technically adept cybersecurity professional committed to enhancing our security posture and data governance. This role is integral to fortifying our digital infrastructure through security monitoring, risk management, compliance, and data protection, ensuring secure technology adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead threat modelling exercises (e.g., STRIDE) using the MITRE ATT&CK framework to identify potential enterprise threats and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee and conduct internal IT security compliance evaluations, ensuring all security requirements are properly implemented.
- Deliver IT security training and briefings to users and administrators.
- Manage IT security initiatives and project rollouts.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including out-of-hours incident handling.
- Perform post-incident analysis and suggest procedural and technical improvements.
- Ensure prompt action on security alerts and escalation protocols.
- Develop and sustain data governance policies, standards, and processes across organisational platforms.
- Maintain frameworks for data classification, ownership, and accountability.
- Enhance data quality and integrity through governance controls.
- Manage data lifecycle activities including storage, retention, and secure disposal.
- Ensure adherence to organisational policies and relevant data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with business units to define critical data governance requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess qualifications in Computer Science or related fields.
- Hold professional cybersecurity or data governance certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CDMP).
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity concepts, information security frameworks, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and mapping threats to security controls.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws such as the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Ability to utilize AI tools to improve cybersecurity and data governance operations.
- Proven track record in conducting security assessments and audit support.
- Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and managing data lifecycles.
- Adaptability and ability to manage diverse tasks alongside various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, professional, and a capable team collaborator.
Additional Information
