Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning phase through to audit completion.
• Oversee, guide, and mentor junior auditors during engagements.
• Review audit work to ensure quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships throughout the audit process.
• Represent the firm at client meetings as a trusted contact.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and workflow efficiently.
• Prepare and critically assess audit documentation adhering to technical standards.
• Identify potential risks and communicate any concerns promptly to Audit Directors.
• Ensure all audit procedures comply with Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards.
• Contribute proactive ideas to enhance audit quality, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in external auditing roles within Australia.
• Professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Proven experience managing audit projects from start to finish.
• Demonstrated background in supervising or reviewing junior audit staff is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Australian auditing frameworks and accounting standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for relationship-building with clients.
• Proactive, organized, and client-centric work approach.
