Overview
ACESGroup is actively looking for experienced, driven Security Guards to join its team at South Bank in Brisbane. The company has multiple openings for roles including Shift Team Leader, Control Room Operator, and Rover/Foot Patrol Officer. These positions are integral to a professional security operation focused on delivery of safe, secure, and customer-oriented services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site safety and security monitoring activities while ensuring professional service delivery.
- Control Room Operators are responsible for CCTV surveillance and managing physical security systems.
- Rovers carry out regular patrols and respond promptly to incidents within their area.
- Engage with customers, offering assistance and welfare support, especially to vulnerable individuals.
- Maintain vigilance and situational awareness, report suspicious behaviors, and participate in relevant trainings and drills.
- Document activities and incidents accurately through reports and logs, escalating issues as necessary.
- Deliver high-standard security services aligned with client expectations and ACESGroup protocols.
- Utilize ACESGroup's digital platforms and technology to enhance safety and reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and precinct partners to optimize operational performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Queensland Security Licence.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) card.
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of security measures appropriate for crowded venues.
- Proven customer service experience with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exemplary personal presentation, reliability, and punctuality.
- Flexibility to operate on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
- Pass the Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) assessment.
- Possess a full Queensland Driver Licence.
- Hold or be willing to acquire a White Card, Fire Warden certification, and Working With Children Check.
