About the company
NikoHealth is a fast-scaling SaaS business that is reshaping how Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) providers manage their operations. Its unified platform is built to simplify workflows and help providers operate with greater efficiency and intelligence.
Role overview
The company is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support growth by finding and engaging potential customers, generating opportunities for the sales team, and serving as the first contact for prospective clients.
This is a fully remote position, but applicants must be located in the United States.
What you'll do
- Research and identify prospects across the DME/HME space and the wider healthcare market, then reach out through email, phone, and social platforms to build interest in NikoHealth’s offering.
- Hold early-stage conversations to uncover customer pain points and determine whether leads should move forward to the sales team.
- Work alongside Account Executives to keep the pipeline active and filled with qualified opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings and product demos for Account Executives and ensure lead handoffs are smooth.
- Record and manage prospect activity accurately in CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Support the sales team with campaign efforts, share feedback, and help strengthen lead-generation activities.
- Keep up with market trends, product changes, and competitor movement so you can clearly communicate NikoHealth’s value.
What the employer is looking for
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust.
- A self-driven, target-focused approach and the motivation to consistently surpass goals.
- Comfort using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot, along with the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
- Good planning, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though equivalent experience may also be considered.
Preferred background
- Prior prospecting experience in SaaS or healthcare.
- Exposure to DME/HME operations or healthcare technology is a plus.
Why this role stands out
This position offers a chance to begin or grow a sales career in a supportive, fast-moving environment. As part of a remote team, you can maintain work-life balance while contributing directly to a company focused on improving the healthcare industry. The SDR role is central to the sales process, helping generate leads, connect with prospects, and support NikoHealth’s mission.
