Role Overview

This part-time, on-site position in Cork requires a Sales Associate to welcome and assist in-store customers by understanding their needs and guiding them through the selection and customization of photo blocks to suit their specific occasion or branding. Daily duties include describing product options and personalization features, processing transactions by handling both cash and card payments, and maintaining precise sales records. Additionally, the associate will keep the retail space tidy and organized, replenish displays, collaborate with production staff on custom orders, and address basic customer questions about orders and product care. The role also involves supporting promotional efforts, following company policies, and helping create a warm, inviting customer atmosphere.

Required Qualifications

• Proven customer service and sales abilities, adept at engaging clients, determining their needs, and providing clear, friendly advice.
• Familiarity with retail operations and point-of-sale systems, including managing cash and card transactions and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clear English, active listening, and adaptability to diverse clients and colleagues.
• Good organizational and time management capabilities to juggle various customer demands, track orders, and uphold orderly store conditions.
• Attention to detail along with basic visual merchandising skills to keep product displays attractive and ensure correct customization details.
• Comfort in using technology such as POS systems and digital tools like email for order processing and customer correspondence.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform light lifting tasks like stocking, and work scheduled part-time shifts that may include weekends or busy times.
• Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred; enthusiasm for photography, personalized gifts, or design is a plus.
