About the Role
EY Jamaica invites motivated individuals to join as Risk Associates within our Enterprise Risk practice, shaping a dynamic career in risk consulting with a globally recognized leader. This opportunity offers exposure to diverse business sectors and the chance to engage in meaningful projects that influence risk, compliance, internal audit, and forensic practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support various engagements such as internal audits, enterprise risk evaluations, compliance assessments (including SOX, AML/CFT, EQA), forensic investigations, and procurement audits.
- Analyze findings from these projects and help craft strategic, financial, and sector-specific recommendations designed to optimize key organizational functions.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards aligned with your experience level, track progress closely, and maintain transparent updates with the team regarding project milestones and results.
- Keep informed on evolving industry trends and business developments linked to relevant sectors and service lines.
- Contribute to preparing comprehensive reports, business proposals, and presentations directed at clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Possession or pursuit of professional certifications such as ACCA, CIA, CPA, CIMA, CISA, CFE, CAMS is advantageous.
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
- Demonstrable knowledge or experience in risk management, external audit, internal audit, SOX compliance, ICFR, or IT General Controls.
- Ideally 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or risk management roles.
