Role Overview

The Reviewer position is a full-time remote role responsible for upholding strong academic and editorial quality. The person in this role will examine academic documents and research proposals to ensure they are clear, well organized, consistent, and aligned with institutional requirements. The role also includes verifying citation quality, coherence, and ethical standards, while offering practical feedback to learners and researchers.

Key Work Areas

• Evaluate research proposals, theses, and related scholarly documents for structure, depth, and compliance with guidelines.
• Check documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and overall presentation quality.
• Review citations, originality, and academic integrity, with awareness of plagiarism concerns and referencing standards.
• Share useful, constructive feedback with learners and researchers.
• Work closely with counseling and academic support teams to maintain a smooth review process.
• Help improve templates, quality-check systems, and editorial workflows.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of educational content and research outputs.

Qualifications

• Solid experience reviewing academic work, including research proposals, theses, and other scholarly material.
• Strong command of written English, with skills in editing, proofreading, and polishing text for clarity and consistency.
• Good understanding of academic ethics, citation practices, and originality checks.
• Exposure to higher education or research settings, ideally at the master’s or doctoral level, across different subject areas.
• Comfort using digital collaboration and document-review tools in a remote work environment.
• Good planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, or a related area; doctoral exposure or experience is considered a plus.
• Ability to work on your own in a remote setup while collaborating effectively with global teams.
