Overview
Our client seeks a dependable and detail-focused Residential Cleaner to service various residential properties. This role involves conducting comprehensive cleaning tasks during move-ins, move-outs, rental turnovers, and general property readiness to meet inspection and showing standards. The position suits a professional individual capable of autonomous work and meticulous documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential locations including move-in/out and rental turnover jobs.
- Execute thorough cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, hallways, and associated fixtures.
- Remove debris, dust, dirt, and garbage where necessary to ensure cleanliness standards.
- Wipe and disinfect surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and otherwise clean all flooring types.
- Clean interior and exterior surfaces of appliances including fridges, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers as needed.
- Identify areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance, including junk removal or repair needs, reporting these observations promptly.
- Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting completed work for each property.
- Provide comprehensive and precise updates, including notes, images, and videos after every visit.
- Maintain professional communication with tenants, property owners, and internal staff members.
- Adhere closely to company guidelines, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment information.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a cleaning-related role such as housekeeper, cleaner, or contractor in residential settings.
- Familiarity with established residential cleaning standards and procedures.
- Access to reliable personal transportation.
- Possession of necessary cleaning equipment and supplies for each assignment.
- Comfort and capability to work independently on-site at different properties.
- Own an iPhone 13 or comparable smartphone equipped with a high-resolution camera for documentation purposes.
- Ability to capture clear and detailed photos and videos showcasing work completed.
- Competency in writing clear, thorough updates and reports post-visit.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail in all work aspects.
- Ability to respectfully interact and communicate with tenants, owners, and team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically with move-in/move-out and rental turnover cleaning.
- Background in preparing properties for inspections, showings, or new occupancy.
- Proven record of identifying and reporting property issues such as damage, maintenance needs, pest concerns, or safety hazards.
- Prior independent field work experience with property management, cleaning, or home services companies.

- Reliable transportation is essential to travel between multiple residential sites.
- Must carry own cleaning supplies and equipment required for appointments.
