Reservation Manager

Role overview

U-Haul is hiring a Reservation Manager Agent in a fast-moving, team-based environment where every day brings different challenges. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, staying results-driven, and helping support customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation handling and equipment distribution. The position reports to the Traffic Control Manager and plays a key part in keeping equipment availability aligned with customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with customers.
• Support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with reservation placement, equipment management, and distribution.
• Direct incoming equipment to the right areas based on customer demand and productivity status so regional inventory stays balanced for future needs.
• Review operational reports used to improve equipment placement, reservation accuracy, and contract handling.
• Assist with U-Haul’s U-Box portable storage product.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Practical familiarity with office tools such as multiline phone systems, proper phone etiquette, Microsoft Word, and email.
• Strong customer service ability, along with good time management and multitasking skills.
