Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Research Analyst / Assistant to contribute to various research projects by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data. This role is centered around gathering both qualitative and quantitative information, uncovering trends, preparing insightful research materials, and providing actionable recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research employing trusted sources and established methodologies.
- Systematically collect, organize, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative datasets.
- Perform extensive literature reviews, market and industry research, along with competitor analysis.
- Create detailed reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries to communicate findings.
- Detect patterns, trends, and key insights from large volumes of research data.
- Maintain and update research databases, documentation, and repositories to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in designing surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and other research instruments.
- Evaluate research outcomes and advise on implications in alignment with organizational goals.
- Work collaboratively across departments on research initiatives and strategic projects.
- Present results through visualizations including charts and graphs, supplemented with written explanations.
- Ensure adherence to research standards concerning methodologies, data quality, and documentation.
- Support the creation of project documentation, proposals, and analytical resources.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging developments, and relevant academic or professional publications.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance research processes and data quality.
- Protect confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Social Sciences, Data Analytics, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong grasp of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Proficiency in data collection, analytical methods, data interpretation, and reporting practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical or reporting software.
- Familiarity with survey platforms, statistical tools, business intelligence, or data visualization applications is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills along with effective time management.
- High attention to detail ensuring accuracy and quality in research outputs.
- Excellent communication skills for writing, speaking, and presenting complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage several research projects concurrently and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration.
