Role Overview
As a Relationship Manager in the NRI segment within our Retail Banking division, you will be tasked with providing tailored financial solutions to Non-Resident Indian clients. Your role involves strengthening customer relationships, recommending strategic products, and ensuring excellent service standards. Collaborating with product and operations teams, you will focus on acquiring new NRI customers, enhancing engagement, and retaining clients under the branch's purview.
Key Responsibilities
- Increase the liabilities portfolio by growing balances of current NRI accounts and boosting profitability through enhanced share of wallet.
- Closely monitor cash inflows and outflows in assigned NRI accounts and track visits of NRIs to India.
- Develop strong client connections using communication channels like emails and calls, providing updates on interest rate changes, currency fluctuations, and relevant products.
- Acquire new clients by generating leads from referrals, NRI associations, stockbrokers, and expatriates in shipping sectors.
- Promote a broad range of investment (life insurance, general insurance, mutual funds, PMS) and non-investment products (forex, remittance services) to new and existing customers.
- Suggest improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency within the branch network.
- Demonstrate solid sales planning and design promotional and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of banking sector trends, FEMA rules concerning NRI accounts, client behaviors, and financial markets.
- Use campaign data from central teams proactively to boost performance and reach targets.

Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate in any discipline with preference for MBA or PGDM candidates.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years in branch banking, preferably with exposure to NRI banking.
- Skills: Demonstrated success in relationship management, strong grasp of NRI products and FEMA compliance, exceptional communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate and resolve conflicts effectively.
