Role and Schedule

• Primary responsibility: harvesting raspberries, compensated on a piece-rate basis per punnet, not hourly.
• The work schedule spans every day of the week, with flexibility to request days off in advance.
• Typical working hours are from 6:30 AM to approximately 1:30-2:00 PM, subject to weather and fruit availability. Work continues even on rainy days.

Season Duration and Additional Work Opportunities

• Raspberry picking runs from February through July.
• Additional blueberry picking opportunities are available in two seasons: winter (July-October) and summer (November-February).
• Workers can transition between these farms to maintain continuous employment and expedite eligibility for a second visa.

Accommodation Information

• Located in Woolgoolga, Corindi.
• Rental costs range between $130 and $150 weekly per room, shared by 2 to 4 people.
• Utilities and bills are included, with amenities such as Wi-Fi, dish soap, cooking utensils, and tableware provided.
• A deposit equivalent to two weeks' rent is required.
• The accommodation is conveniently close to Woolworths supermarket, a gym, a library, and the beach within five minutes on foot.

Compensation and Transportation

• Piece rate pay ranges from 80 to 100 cents per punnet, fluctuating with market conditions.
• Payment is issued weekly: payslips on Thursday and payment on Friday.
• For workers without a personal vehicle, a transport pickup service is available for $7. Those with a car can earn extra by providing rides to others.
• Pickup points include Coffs Harbour train station, airport, and Woolgoolga bus stop; availability may vary during work hours.
