Quality Engineer

About the Role

A distinguished company is urgently seeking Quality Engineers with backgrounds in Mechanical Engineering to join their teams based in Mohali and Ludhiana, Punjab. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess practical knowledge related to quality control within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement self-inspection checklists to verify product dimensions and visual standards.
• Detect quality issues and identify product defects effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation such as test plans and procedures.
• Generate quality documentation including reports, procedures, specifications, PPAP, SPC, MSC, and apply quality tools such as 7QC Tools and 8D for problem-solving.
• Document observations and propose recommendations to enhance quality processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a heat treatment plant environment.
• Basic technical knowledge related to quality engineering.
• Experience in operating hardness testing equipment is essential.

Compensation and Location

The monthly salary ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 35,000. The job locations are Mohali and Ludhiana in Punjab.
