Overview
We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure that our products consistently meet stringent quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role involves implementing quality assurance and control systems, carrying out thorough inspections, and fostering continuous enhancements in design and manufacturing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, execute, and sustain QA/QC protocols adhering to industry regulations such as ASME, ISO, PESO, and DNV standards.
- Perform inspections during production and at completion stages on fabricated equipment, covering welding, machining, and assembly processes.
- Evaluate and approve design documentation, material test certificates, and inspection summaries.
- Guarantee conformity with client specifications, applicable codes, and mandatory regulations.
- Work closely with design, production, and project teams to address quality-related challenges and implement corrective solutions.
- Lead investigations into root causes of quality issues and promote preventive strategies for repeated problems.
- Manage documentation related to QA/QC activities including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality dossiers.
- Facilitate coordination with third-party inspectors and certification entities.
- Advocate for continuous improvement and uphold high standards of quality throughout the company.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in quality assurance/control within fabrication, heavy engineering, or process equipment manufacturing sectors.
- Solid knowledge of welding standards, non-destructive testing techniques, and fabrication workflows.
- Understanding of global codes and quality certifications such as ASME, ISO 9001, PESO, and DNV.
- Familiarity with quality improvement tools including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Strong skills in communication, documentation, and analytical problem-solving.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external partners.
