Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Associate to independently handle the procurement process, managing everything from vendor search to product quality checks. This role requires a proactive and detail-focused individual who can establish strong vendor relationships while ensuring timely, cost-efficient purchasing.

Key Duties

Identify and source dependable vendors throughout India.
Oversee the entire purchasing cycle beginning from enquiry to final procurement.
Analyze quotations and negotiate favorable prices and commercial terms.
Coordinate with vendors to guarantee prompt delivery schedules.
Perform basic quality inspections on products prior to purchase approval.
Collaborate closely with operations and warehouse teams for seamless workflow.
Maintain organized records of vendor contacts, quotations, and purchase documentation.
Explore and onboard new suppliers to enhance procurement efficiency.
Balance quality, pricing, and delivery timelines effectively.

Requirements

Minimum of one year experience exclusively in purchase or procurement activities.
Proficient in using IndiaMART platform (mandatory) and familiar with TradeIndia.
Strong vendor communication and negotiation expertise.
Capability to independently evaluate product quality.
Effective communication skills in both Hindi and English.
Excellent organizational abilities and follow-up skills.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.

Desired Skills

Experience sourcing products via Alibaba platform.
Understanding of China-based supplier networks and import procurement processes.
Background in wholesale supplier sourcing.

Additional Information

Location: Naraina Industrial Area, New Delhi
Salary: ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 monthly, depending on experience and interview outcome
