About the role

The Timaru branch is seeking a skilled Psychologist who is interested in strengthening clinical experience within rehabilitation. Main responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and make recommendations using sound clinical judgement.
• Prepare clear written and spoken summaries of assessment findings.
• Contribute to the creation of training materials and resources for the services provided.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and continue learning from colleagues.

Technology and performance support

The organisation provides enhanced AI documentation tools for clinicians. Heidi notes is available to help reduce admin time by automating clinical note-taking, allowing more focus on patient care and professional excellence. The bonus structure is uncapped, giving clinicians the opportunity to earn an additional performance bonus every month.

Ideal candidate

• Holds an MA, PG Dip, DClin, or an equivalent qualification.
• Is registered as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists’ Board and holds a current APC.
• Belongs to a recognised professional body such as the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists or the New Zealand Psychological Society.
• Has a warm, approachable, and people-focused manner.
• Is able to travel when required.
