Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead construction projects located in the Tuas West area. This position is crucial for ensuring projects run smoothly, meet deadlines, and maintain coordination among all involved parties, while upholding stringent safety, compliance, and quality standards. If you are an active leader with verified experience managing construction projects, this role provides the opportunity to oversee significant large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and final delivery.
• Coordinate closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow and promptly resolve any issues.
• Track project progress, compile reports, and regularly update stakeholders.
• Recognize and address risks to guarantee projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Introduce process enhancements and best practices to boost operational efficiency.
• Lead and inspire the project team to promote collaboration and excellent performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in building construction or pharmaceutical/industrial projects.
• Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and flexible strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction laws, safety procedures, and quality benchmarks.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is advantageous for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Willingness to work additional hours or weekends aligned with project needs.
