About the Role
Elder Research, a subsidiary of MANTECH International Corporation, is seeking a dedicated and client-focused Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA. This hybrid role ideally suits candidates residing in the Washington DC area. The Project Manager will lead technical teams and ensure the successful execution of technology and analytics projects, ensuring delivery that meets scope, budget, and schedules while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical staff in project execution phases including design, build, testing, and deployment of data analytics and data science solutions.
- Collaborate internally with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and software developers to support business analysis, requirements gathering, technology design, and quality assurance.
- Engage externally with client personnel across multiple levels, including program managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT teams, and leadership to manage expectations and project delivery.
- Direct tactical delivery of analytics initiatives efficiently and effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Posses a PMP certification or demonstrate the ability and commitment to obtain one within one year of hire.
- Extensive experience leading projects using industry-recognized frameworks such as PMP, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proven background in consulting, managing client engagements in technology, management, or strategy sectors.
- Experience in government contracting or working with federal government agencies.
- Must hold an IRS Public Trust clearance with a full background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master’s) in data science, analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or business administration.
- Experience contributing to the design and implementation of data analytics solutions involving database querying, data pipeline construction, and application of data science techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, text mining, and graph analytics.
- Agile certification is an advantage.
- Proven success in expanding federal government program portfolios.
