Project Director

Overview

Join a prominent global workforce solutions provider, operating in over 30 countries with a strong employee base. This role is situated in Abu Dhabi and requires a seasoned Project Director. The position is permanent with a focus on overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities and Experience

• Direct management of high-value projects spanning design to commissioning phases.
• Extensive experience leading projects in nuclear power plants, military infrastructures, airports, or comparable critical facilities.
• Deep expertise in EPC and design-build methods, particularly involving civil, structural, and multidisciplinary engineering disciplines.
• Proficient in leadership, client interactions, contract oversight, and project control mechanisms.
• Strong command of FIDIC contracts, health, safety and environmental standards, quality assurance and control, risk assessment, and schedule management.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 20 years' project management experience.
• Educational background in Civil or Structural Engineering; candidates with Mechanical Engineering degrees may be considered if they possess extensive EPC project leadership experience.
• Preferably having worked in the European region.
