Facility and Operations

Our Lethbridge Pork facility is a specialized pork processing plant handling the processing of around 1500-1600 pigs daily. The process begins from receiving pigs from farmers to preparing finished products ready for export.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies throughout the plant efficiently.
• Engage in the bagging and packaging of meat products as required.
• Operate processing machinery and equipment when necessary.
• Conduct product inspections to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace complying with food safety standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing mandatory personal protective equipment.
• Work diligently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials and products.
• Report any equipment issues or product defects promptly to supervisors.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform additional assigned tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Repeatedly lift heavy loads, up to 60 pounds.
• Work in cold environments.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
