Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our hybrid London-based team, with travel to client sites when needed. You will utilize your expertise in product management tools and techniques, working closely with other product managers, digital teams, and clients. This role involves nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration while growing your own capabilities and championing Methods' brand and product management approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision and strategy for assigned products.
- Create and communicate product strategies and related artifacts to gain stakeholder alignment.
- Navigating policy and technology constraints, challenging them when required.
- Design user-centric digital services that meet user needs effectively.
- Translate user and business needs into clear product strategies and priorities.
- Lead product lifecycle stages adhering to GOV.UK Service Manual standards and principles.
- Use data-driven, evidence-based decision-making to deliver meaningful value and outcomes.
- Engage actively with the Product Community of Practice and stay updated on sector trends.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong passion for product management with commitment to quality delivery.
- Proficient with a broad range of product management methods and techniques.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful, user-focused products.
- Skilled at engaging users and stakeholders to validate and execute product visions and strategies.
- Advocate for accessibility and incorporate it into decision-making processes.
- Ability to measure and interpret product performance, outcomes, and value.
- Experience applying product management principles within the public sector, especially relating to GOV.UK Service Manual.
- Security Clearance or willingness to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks required.
