Role Overview

This full-time remote position for a Product Designer involves partnering with product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to identify challenges, devise solutions, and build intuitive user interfaces for AI-powered products. Daily tasks encompass generating wireframes, user journeys, and polished visual designs, performing user research and usability evaluation, as well as transforming findings into distinct design decisions. The role entails iterative design revisions based on feedback, preserving design systems and standards, and aligning visual and interaction elements with business objectives and user requirements. The Product Designer also plays a role in defining product strategy, engaging in cross-team critiques, and fostering continuous improvement of design methodologies at Synter.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven expertise in end-to-end product design for digital platforms.
• Strong skills in visual design, including mastery of layout, typography, color theory, and component-based design frameworks.
• Experienced in applying Design Thinking techniques to identify problems, generate ideas, and test concepts.
• Skilled in user and UX research, capable of designing studies, summarizing insights, and applying them to design enhancements.
• Effective communicator within remote and interdisciplinary teams, able to bridge technical and non-technical discussions.
• Practical knowledge of current design and prototyping software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled products or analytics-driven applications is advantageous.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating delivered products, thoughtful design rationale, and user-focused results.
