Product Designer

Overview

This opportunity is presented on behalf of a partner company seeking a Product Designer located in the United States. The role involves designing cutting-edge digital products situated at the convergence of finance, technology, and decentralized systems. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping user interfaces for progressive web products and decentralized applications.

Role and Responsibilities

Working in close partnership with teams across product management, engineering, and business functions, you will translate complex challenges into intuitive, impactful product experiences. This role offers a chance to exert significant influence over the entire product development lifecycle—from early concept ideation and prototyping through to the delivery of refined, final user experiences. It is well suited for a designer who excels in UX principles, has strong visual design skills, and enjoys building products from scratch.

• Oversee design initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, from initial idea generation and user flow mapping to product launch.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop practical and elegant solutions to challenging design problems.
• Craft user-centric strategies informed by customer insights and needs, delivering meaningful value through design.
• Rapidly produce wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts while maintaining an attentive balance between speed and detail orientation.
• Contribute to product strategy and advocate for higher design quality, consistency, and enhanced user experiences.
• Promote and enhance user-centered design processes within the organization.
• Apply rigorous visual design fundamentals, including principles of layout, typography, color theory, and interaction design.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of three years in professional UI/UX or product design roles.
• Demonstrated expertise designing consumer-focused web and mobile applications.
• Skilled in producing wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and detailed visual designs.
• Solid grasp of UX best practices, information architecture, and human-centered design methodologies.
• Advanced command of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Strong foundation in graphic design including layout composition, typography, color use, and visual balance.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in dynamic, fast-paced cross-functional teams.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing thoughtful design decisions, careful craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Experience with fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital asset-related products is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges or decentralized platforms is a strong advantage.
• Candidate must be able to work during North/South American or European time zones.
