Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the produce department ensuring it is well-zoned.
• Rotate stock consistently and monitor for product expiration dates.
• Ensure accurate pricing and proper signage of all merchandise.
• Follow strict cold chain procedures, including thermometer calibration, temperature tracking, food handling, and product rotation protocols.
• Comply with food safety standards, sanitation, and cleaning processes.
• Execute ordering, clearance, price adjustments, labeling, and markdown procedures correctly.
• Maintain full stock levels to guarantee the department is prepared for business operations.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety practices.
• Perform merchandise stocking, picking, downstocking if necessary, apply product protection, and set up modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.05.

Minimum Qualifications
